Blackline aint' no Flatline...........

Hubby got his first motorcycle last year ( ya.... most my scrap posts will be from the year before.....but you can just imagine the goofiness that increases over 365...) Anyways. It's a Harley Davidson Blackline something or other......It's loud. And Fast. And I have named it the widowmaker.....not because he's might die on it..... but because whenever he gets the chance to be on it... he is...and I become this single parent.....

However..... he loves it.... and I can appreciate that. So here is my attempt to scrap it.... with out to much girly influence......

Because the bike is simple in itself..... I felt I couldn't over embellish the page.... so it's seriously as basic as you can get with out just slapping pics on white cardstock.....ah wait.... that's exactly what I did.......

meh... it works.

Happy Canada Day...... almost a month later...........

Life is crazy, between work, kids, work and kids..... I clearly have been dropping the ball on posting things. But here I go. This is our Canada Day Celebration Day! I think it's the one day so far this summer where is hasn't rained. We went from Drought and water bans in Southern Alberta....... To flooding and Small towns and Big cities being destroyed. OK mother nature..... we hear you.
Anyways.... Albertans have this way of finding happiness in sorrow. And Canada Day was definitely an example.

This is the story of.........and now I have Groove Armada in my head. But either way, 6am scrapbooking is the way to go. Kids are sleeping, Hubby is snoring, and mamma can get some fun done. This is the opener page to our Hilchie 2012 adventure. All I used was scraps from a kit I had left over from one of those major Utah based companies......wait......aren't most of them based in Utah??

Welcome to Bad2theBone! I am Colleen. Mother of 2, chef in the city, and papercrafter. Yes.....that's right. I play with paper, glue and glitter. And yes. I have tattoos.....a lot of them.
I have been told I don't look like a "conventional" scrapbooker. I disagree, I come up from my studio with adhesive on my shirt, glitter on my face, and paper bits stuck to my feet like everyone else. But I'm rollin' with it. 
This blog will feature different styles of artwork. I love the classics, florals, modern styles, and that unreal moustache stamp set.
There will be cards, layouts, and possibly some wicked 3D items.
I will not be promoting any one particular paper craft company, I use them all.
